Why PriceHunter?
Most people only open the first few sites. PriceHunter lists the shops in one place so you can see which page is secured, how they deliver, and whether the physical shop is open, before you pay.
What is PriceHunter?
PriceHunter started in 2019 as the first Sri Lankan price comparison website. It is now a shop and business comparison guide. You check the shop before you pay. PriceHunter does not sell the goods.
Who runs it?
pricehunter.lk is a Resign Designs company.
What does Secured mean?
The shop page address starts with https, so it is encrypted on the way. A lookalike can still use https, so read the name letter by letter.
What does Verified mean?
PriceHunter reviewed that shop before adding the badge. It is separate from the lock.
What does Sponsored mean?
The shop paid to appear at the top of the list. It is not the same as Verified. Read the shop before you pay.
What does Shop open mean?
The physical shop, and only when an address and hours are listed. It is not the website.
Which location and hours are shown?
The flagship store, or the company’s main location. A shop with several branches is not pinned to the one nearest you. Call the shop if you need a different branch.
How does a shop get listed?
Use List your shop. It is reviewed before it appears. Paid placement is what puts a shop at the top.
